Epson Software Mountain Lion Drivers May Have

As you correctly described, you have to run CS5 in 32-bit mode because your scanners TWAIN driver is 32-bit only.

Unfortunately, the fix for this is outside our control, so I cannot provide any information on when this may be fixed.

I believe this will be fixed in the near future, but cannot promise anything.

This isnt an ideal solution, especially for people who are not currently VueScan owners.

In Mountain Lion, you can confirm this by running the Image Capture utility application to perform scanning.

Once Photoshops problem is resolved, it will support exactly the same scanners as Image Capture does.

The last thing I expected when I implemented this feature earlier this year was to find everything so broken so soon after we released Photoshop CS6 (and not being able to fix it ourselves).

I updated driver of both and Im still getting the blank screen.

Worked fine on Mac Lion, soon as I switched to Mountain Lion.

Scanner no longer shows up in Photoshop CS6 (I get the same empty window you got).

I will look into the problem, at this point I dont have a guess as to what may be causing this, but from the sound of the comments here, it appears there is some sort of problem with Mountain Lion that I need to investigate.

Yeah I second Scotts comments, its definitely tied into Mountain Lion.

Works ok in Photoshop CS5 when running in 32 bit mode, but not 64 bit.
